President Donald Trump told Pod Force One host Miranda Devine on Wednesday that he bears “no hard feelings” toward Elon Musk despite the billionaire’s recent criticism of Trump’s landmark spending package, dubbed the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
“I guess I could forgive him,” Trump said, calling the social-media tycoon his “former first buddy.” He admitted surprise at Musk’s public rebuke of the legislation, which Trump hailed as “the best thing we’ve ever signed.”
The feud ignited last month when Musk attacked the bill on X, arguing it clashed with his initiatives at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk later posted, “I regret some of my posts about President Trump last week. They went too far,” without specifying which comments he regretted.
