Actress Seo Ye-ji (서예지) has spoken out against rumors linking her romantically to Kim Soo-hyun (김수현).
On March 13, Seo Ye-ji shared her thoughts on her official fan café, “Yejiyechan” (예지예찬), saying, “I’m only human, and this is really overwhelming, exhausting, frustrating, and suffocating.”
She continued, “I kept holding back… but at one point, I unknowingly replied to a comment and then deleted it.” A screenshot of the deleted comment was also shared, showing a fan’s message: “Did you cheat with Kim Soo-hyun? Don’t disappoint us for the second time.”
Seo Ye-ji firmly responded, “I really wish this would stop. I have no connection whatsoever with him or his brother. I don’t even understand why I have to clarify this, but today, I just feel incredibly frustrated.”
Seo Ye-ji previously starred alongside Kim Soo-hyun in the 2020 drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” (사이코지만 괜찮아), which sparked dating rumors between them. Additionally, her exclusive contract with Gold Medalist (골드메달리스트), founded by Kim Soo-hyun’s cousin Lee Ro-un (이로운), further fueled speculation.
However, in 2023, her four-year contract with Gold Medalist ended, and she has since moved to Sublime to start fresh.
Meanwhile, on March 10, the YouTube channel ‘Garosero Research’ Institute (가로세로연구소) alleged that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a six-year relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron (김새론), starting in 2015 when she was a minor. Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, responded, stating, “These claims are entirely false and unacceptable. We are reviewing the strongest legal action possible against the spread of misinformation by Garosero Research Institute.”
Garosero Research Institute later released photos of Kim Soo-hyun showing physical affection toward Kim Sae-ron, but his agency maintained, “Our official statement remains unchanged,” continuing to deny all allegations.
