News: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe have been mentioned in a warning from a Nigerian prophetess who earlier foretold Diogo Jota’s tragic death.

A Nigerian prophetess who predicted the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva has made another prophecy involving top football stars.

Jota and his brother passed away after a car accident in the Zamora region of Spain on Thursday, July 3, 2025, when they were heading for the port in Santander for Jota to resume pre-season training.

The tyres of their Lamborghini burst, which caused it to veer off the road and catch fire on impact. A Nigerian prophetess had earlier claimed that a known footballer would pass away in July, a few days before the Liverpool star’s incident happened.

Prophetess warns Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe The prophetess called Bright The Seer on social media has dropped another bombshell prophecy for the football community. She warned that top stars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe, and two other names she did not mention, should be careful. “Pray for them that they will not have a serious issue, one of them undergoing a medical procedure that did not work, and they keep doing it, and he was put on life support,” she said.

Fans quickly hit back at her, claiming there are deficiencies in her prophecies as they are only targeted at popular footballers and not commoners. @TIKTOK1STPRINCE wrote: “Mugu, na only famous people spirit of God dey see for ur side, no go prepare food for ur husband. 😏” @NanaSarfo wrote: “They are footballers. It’s not something huge if that should happen. It’s not a big deal. Players are prone to injury. This isn’t a prophecy.”

@PERRY: “Make God still reveal good things give Africa pastor?? Why e be say na only bad things all of them they see.” @BIG_16 wrote: “Don’t you prophesy for us that are not famous 😒 or God now don dey acknowledge celebrity 😒”
