A new video has emerged and is blowing up social media: Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler had a heated confrontation after the Golden State Warriors were eliminated from the playoffs. What happened in that short clip is shaking the entire NBA.
According to a source “standing so close to the scene that you could hear breathing,” the incident happened behind the tunnel, right as the Warriors were retreating in a heavy mood. Jimmy Butler, never one to shy away from speaking out, is said to have said something that made Draymond “light up in a second.”
A witness described: “Draymond was walking with his head down, but when Jimmy said something about ‘fighting spirit,’ he turned around immediately. The atmosphere was tense.”
The video is less than 20 seconds long, but it’s enough to see Draymond walking straight toward Jimmy, while Jimmy stood back with an attitude of not backing down. The words were muffled by the noise, but the body language was clear: tense, defiant, and a little… too familiar to both.
No one really jumped in to stop it, as it all happened so quickly that only two assistant teams had time to raise their hands to block the way. But those present all confirmed: “If it had been three seconds longer, it could have gone much further.”
As soon as the clip was posted online, NBA fans immediately split into three camps: those who said Butler was “telling the truth,” those who insisted Draymond “had enough of a tumultuous season,” and a third who simply asked one question: “Why was the camera there at that moment?”
Many experts even said that this incident could be the start of a series of dramas in the offseason, as both stars are known for their uncompromising style.
The big question hanging over the entire basketball community is:
Is this just a post-defeat emotional outburst… or is it the beginning of a new war between two of the NBA’s biggest egos?
It’s a 20-second video, but the aftershocks will likely last… all summer.
