Megan Fox, who shares three children with ex Brian Austin Green, announced she is pregnant with her and Machine Gun Kelly’s baby. And the rapper had the best response to the exciting announcement.
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are embarking on a new chapter together.
After the Transformers actress—who shares kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with ex Brian Austin Green—recently announced that she and the rapper (real name Colson Baker) are expecting a baby together, MGK shared his reaction and noted his focus as of late.
“Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, Nov. 25, “when inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. don’t worry. after all, im about to be a dad again!”
MGK—who is already dad to 15-year-old daughter Cassie with ex Emma Cannon—gushed over the exciting news exactly two weeks after Megan announced the couple’s new baby on Instagram.
“Nothing is really lost,” Megan wrote in a Nov. 11 Instagram post, which included a photo of her cradling her baby bump and a positive pregnancy test. “Welcome back.”
And while the couple’s pregnancy news is exciting for fans, MGK and Megan have been dropping hints for a few months. After all, the news of the couple’s expanding family comes just three months after Megan played an expecting mother in MGK and Jelly Roll’s “Lonely Road” music video.
In the video, MGK plays a mechanic who robs a bank to support Megan’s pregnant character and their family. Later in the video, the “my ex’s best friend” rapper is arrested for his crime, while the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress’ character gives birth to a baby girl and visits the rapper in jail.
At the time, Anna Danielle Cejka—whose daughter played the couple’s baby in the music video—shut down pregnancy speculation, responding to a fan asking if Megan was with, “no she’s not haha it was just for the video!”
Later, MGK echoed that Megan’s pregnancy was “just for the video,” but cryptically added that there was “meaning” behind it.
“I like to leave a lot of stuff up for interpretation,” MGK explained on an August episode of Impaulsive podcast. “Some part of me is like, ‘Leave art up for interpretation.’ I guess that’s where I’ll leave it.”

Still, Megan and MGK have been open about the prospect of expanding their family for several years—with Megan even opening up about a miscarriage the couple experienced together in her 2023 poetry book and MGK singing about it in his song “Don’t Let Me Go.”
And both MGK and Megan have expressed joy over parenthood ahead of their pregnancy news. For the rapper’s part, he has spoken highly of being a girl dad.
“You’re the first man she’s ever going to be in love with,” he reflected on the Impaulsive podcast. “You have this connection with her, where no matter what anybody does in her life, no matter who she marries, you’re always going to be the safe place for your daughter.”
Meanwhile Megan has previously noted that becoming a mother to her three kids gave her “purpose.”
“That kind of saved me honestly,” the 38-year-old reflected of becoming a mom at 26 to People in 2021. “I needed an escape.”
As she noted of becoming a mom, “It’s given me the ground that I needed to grow into something quite special.”
