Luka Doncic’s fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, kept her farewell message to the city of Dallas short after the Mavericks star was traded to the Lakers just after midnight Sunday morning.
Goltes, a model and influencer, wrote, “Thank you,” with a blue heart emoji on her Instagram Story later that day.
She re-shared Doncic’s goodbye letter , “Dear Dallas,” after the Mavericks agreed to trade the five-time NBA All-Star to the Lakers for a package highlighted by Anthony Davis.
She also re-posted the Lakers’ welcome banner for Doncic, which included a graphic of him sporting a Lakers jersey with his number 77.
Dallas traded Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris to Los Angeles for Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick in a three-team deal with the Jazz that shook the NBA world to its core .
Utah received Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2025 second-round pick via the Los Angeles Clippers and the Mavericks’ 2025 second-round pick.
It came five months after Doncic and Goltes announced the birth of their daughter , Gabriela, in an Instagram post on Dec. 1, 2022.
Goltes, who was on the cover of Cosmopolitan Slovenija in October 2019, previously shared in an Instagram Q&A that she met Doncic “when we were 12 years old at the seaside in Croatia.”
