Investing in Cameroon: Giving Back to His Roots
Mbappe’s deep connection to Cameroon, his father’s homeland, shines through his foundation’s work there. With donations exceeding $1m, IBKM is actively building and renovating schools across the country. Recent projects include modern classrooms in a public school in Douala and a fully financed school in Yaounde. During his last visit to Cameroon, Mbappe toured two schools supported by the foundation — one specialized in educating deaf and hard-of-hearing children — reaffirming his commitment to ensure children in his ancestral homeland receive quality education and opportunities for a better future.
