7th May 2025 – (Seoul) The late Kim Sae-ron’s grieving family convened a press conference on today in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to unveil shocking revelations regarding the late actress’s transcripts, branding it a potential “murder teacher case.” CEO Kim Se-eui from the YouTube channel Horizontal Sero Research Institute was also present at the event.
During the press conference, the family divulged details of phone conversations between the informant and the deceased, residing in New Jersey. They emphasised a mutual agreement between Kim Sae-ron and the informant.
Kim Se-eui disclosed, “On 10th January (US time) this year, the informant was subjected to a violent attack by individuals from Korea and China on 1st May, receiving nine neck stabbings. Anticipating escalating threats, the family decided to disclose partial information today.” Describing the incident as a clear-cut case of premeditated murder, Kim Se-eui informed that the investigation is being handled by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, not the New Jersey State Police.
Concerns were raised regarding the informant’s safety, with reports of suspected stalking vehicles near Kim Sae-ron’s aunt’s residence. The family earnestly appealed for police protection for both themselves and Kim Se-ui.
Kim Se-eui highlighted, “The informant has also faced death threats. Once the recordings are secured, we will release them.” Additionally, he highlighted, “I have requested the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to investigate threats towards my family.”
In a recent development, Kim Sae-ron’s family, at the press conference, disclosed crucial information about the whistleblower, Mr. A, who recorded conversations with the late actress involving serious allegations against actor Kim Soo Hyun. The unfolding case, including the stabbing incident and controversial recordings, remains a subject of active investigation, delving deeper into the intricate web of individuals involved.
Earlier, the bereaved family conducted two press conferences on March 17 and 27. In reference to the late Kim Sae-ron, who passed away in February, the family highlighted a six-year relationship between Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun through the Garosero Research Institute. They called for an official apology from Kim Soo-hyun and urged him to admit that the deceased was involved while underage.
Following Kim Sae-ron’s drunk driving incident, Kim Soo-hyun, Kim’s agency’s gold medallist, promptly provided evidence for reimbursement amounting to 700 million won, covering broadcasting fines and accident-related costs. Allegedly, Kim Sae-ron sought assistance from Kim Soo-hyun, claiming they were in a relationship at the time. The family stated that although Kim Soo-hyun reimbursed the amount through their agency, they later sent a certificate of contents. Additionally, the family accused Lee Jin-ho of the YouTube channel “Entertainment President” of harassing Kim Sae-ron with multiple videos.
Amidst refuting rumours of a romantic involvement, Kim Soo-hyun declared that Kim Sae-ron stated they had been dating for approximately a year since reaching adulthood. Subsequently, Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference, clarifying their stance and expressing determination to establish the truth.
In response to these events, LKB & Partners, acting as Kim Soo-hyun’s legal representation, filed defamation lawsuits against the bereaved family, an unidentified individual self-identified as “auntie,” and Kim Se-yeon, CEO of Se-yeon, seeking damages amounting to 12 billion won.
Furthermore, Kim Soo-hyun lodged a complaint accusing Kim Se-eui of breaching the Stalking Punishment Act. Subsequently, an investigative agency sought a “tentative measure” on the 22nd of the previous month, directing Kim Se-ui to cease stalking. The Seoul Central District Court approved the application and enforced a temporary measure.
