A famous YouTube channel called Garosero Research Institute published a letter said to be from Kim Sae Ron on social media. According to the letter, Kim Sae Ron dated Kim Soo Hyun in 2015. At that time, Kim Sae Ron was 16 years old, and Kim Soo Hyun was 30 years old. Their relationship lasted until mid-2021. A year later, Kim Sae Ron was involved in a traffic accident while drunk and left Kim So Hyun’s management company.
The YouTube channel also interviewed a person believed to be a relative of Kim Sae Ron. This person confirmed that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun used to be in a relationship. Kim Soo Hyun even lent his ex-girlfriend 700 million won, but then asked for the money through his management company.

However, on the evening of March 10, Kim Soo Hyun denied the information that he was in love with Kim Sae Ron, according to JTBC .
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency said, “The claims made by Garosero Research Institute regarding actor Kim Soo Hyun are clearly false. Garosero Research Institute claimed that our company and actor Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late actress Kim Sae Ron, saying that the late actress Kim Sae Ron dated Kim Soo Hyun since she was 15 years old.”
The company added, “The channel also claimed that our company did not properly handle the late actress Kim Sae Ron’s drunk driving accident. Our company will take the strongest possible legal action against Garosero Research Institute for spreading false information.”
