The Thunder won its first NBA title Sunday night at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
OKC defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in Game 7 of the finals, capping a gritty series that began with a Pacers win and ended with a Thunder victory in front of a home sellout crowd.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led OKC in Game 7 with 29 points, while Jalen Williams had 20 and Chet Holmgren added 18.
Bennedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 24 points off the bench, while standout guard Tyrese Haliburton exited in the first quarter with a right Achilles injury and didn’t return.
