According to USA Today , Beyoncé attended Kamala Harris’s abortion rights rally in Houston on October 25 (local time). The artist appeared on stage with Kelly Rowland – former member of Destiny Child.
At the end of Rowland’s speech, Beyoncé called on voters to vote for Harris. She said: “I’m not here as a celebrity or a politician. I’m here as a mother who cares about the world our children live in – where we have the freedom to control our bodies, not divided by the past, present or future.”
Before concluding, she called Kamala Harris “the next president of the United States” as she introduced her appearance.

On October 24, a series of international news sites such as CNN , Washington Post , and AP News reported that Beyoncé and country music icon Willie Nelson, 91, attended the campaign. According to CNN , the appearance of Beyonce and singer Will Nelson was one of the biggest performances to close Kamala Harris’ campaign.
Although she has never been with the candidate in person, Beyoncé has shown her support by allowing her team to use her music on the campaign trail. On July 22, Beyonce agreed to let her use her song “ Freedom” when she arrived at the presidential campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. A source close to Harris said Beyonce’s team made the decision hours before she stepped out to greet the crowd. She continued to use the song at a rally in Wisconsin the next day.

The 43-year-old singer has long been known for her support of the Democratic Party, supporting the candidates in advance. In 2013, Beyonce sang the national anthem at President Barack Obama’s inauguration. Three years later, she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, held a pre-election concert for Hillary Clinton in Ohio. The dancers all wore blue suits in honor of the person who could become the first female US president.
“I want my daughter to grow up to see the story of a woman leading our country, to understand her limitless potential. That’s why I stand with her,” the singer said at the time.
In 2020, Beyoncé urged her Instagram followers to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as they ran for president and vice president.

Beyoncé , 43, is one of the world’s most successful artists with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Throughout her career, the singer has won many awards such as Grammy, Billboard, MTV, American Music Awards. Forbes magazine has twice honored her as the world’s most powerful woman in entertainment in 2015 and 2017. She is also the person who has won the most Grammy awards with 32 golden trumpets, counting from her time in the groups Destiny’s Child and The Carters (with Jay-Z). Beyoncé married rapper Jay-Z in 2008, and has three children – Blue Ivy Carter, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir Carter, six.
Kamala Harris , 60, was born in Oakland, California, and graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She served as a US senator representing California from 2017 to 2021. Harris ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, but withdrew before the primary. Joe Biden chose her as his running mate in August 2020, and they won the general election in November of that year. She is the first female vice president of the United States, as well as the first person of color of South Asian descent to hold the position.
In addition to Beyoncé, many artists supported her such as “media queen” Oprah Winfrey, actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, rapper Lizzo. On September 10, Taylor Swift posted on Instagram supporting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz – vice presidential candidates – saying she had done her research before siding with them. A few hours later, Harris used her song The Man to end the debate with her opponent Donald Trump.
