Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has taken to social media, to send a message of congratulations to fellow countryman Rayan Cherki.
This comes after the Frenchman opened his account in the colours of new club Manchester City over the weekend.
Midfielder Cherki was for his part snapped up by Pep Guardiola’s Sky Blues from Olympique Lyonnais earlier this summer.
The 22-year-old, in turn, was afforded his competitive debut this past Saturday, in a Premier League meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And en route to an eventual 4-0 triumph, Cherki rounded out the scoring at Molineux.
With his birthday having followed a day later on Sunday, the gifted young creator, in turn, enjoyed a weekend to remember all told.
And as alluded to above, quick to send a message of both congratulations and well wishes to Cherki as a result was international teammate Kylian Mbappé.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Real Madrid frontman Mbappé unveiled a photo of he and Cherki playing for France, accompanied by the caption:
“Happy Birthday brother and congratulations on your first PL goal.”
