The social media storm erupted within minutes of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James jumping into the simmering debate between the two most powerful female rappers on the planet: Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. And just one sentence from LeBron set the entire entertainment world on fire.
T everything started when LeBron, in a random interview with The Culture Report, spoke up about the never-ending rivalry between the two female artists:
“I think they should keep quiet, instead of letting it spread further. It doesn’t help anyone.”
Just a few hours later, social media X (formerly Twitter) exploded when Nicki Minaj posted a sarcastic tweet, supposedly aimed directly at Cardi B – and slightly “agreeing” with LeBron:
“He’s right. Maybe learn how to rap first — it’s not my fault your pen needs someone else to hold it.”
That tweet was like throwing a spark straight into a gas tank. Less than 10 minutes later, Cardi B fiercely counterattacked with a sharp tongue that caused a stir on the Internet:

The online community was clearly divided into two factions: the “Barbz” (Nicki fans) and the “BardiGang” (Cardi fans) attacked each other mercilessly, causing the X platform to almost overload due to the huge number of interactions.
Meanwhile, LeBron James – who just wanted to “call for peace” – was dragged into the eye of the storm.
