Rumors doing the rounds on social media claim that Beyonce lost millions of Instagram followers overnight due to her alleged affair with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Rumors, which went viral on X, suggested the alleged fallout was a result of her and husband Jay-Z’s connection to Diddy’s legal troubles and Aaliyah’s death.

However, these have not been proven.

According to Social Blade, a website that analyzes social networks, Beyoncé’s follower count has been dropping gradually since March 2024, not overnight as rumors suggest.

In fact, on September 27, Beyonce gained 56,151 followers, contrary to reports of a sudden drop of four million.

An X user first fueled the rumors with a tweet claiming, “Beyonce has found herself at the center of a huge controversy in recent days after a massive loss of followers,” linking it to the Diddy scandal.

Despite not losing followers, her Instagram comments section has been flooded with messages related to her relationship with Diddy.
