Her daughter Diamond confirmed the sad news on Facebook, posting, “My mommy is gone.” Longtime promoter Van Silk also confirmed the tragedy, informing AllHipHop, “I got a call from her people saying that Angie had passed.”. I believed it was from her kidney dialysis that she was undergoing, but it was a tragic vehicle accident with nine individuals in the Sprinter van traveling from a show in Alabama back to Atlanta. Angie will be greatly missed, particularly by me since we would text or call each other in the morning.
