Heartbroken Tom Cruise Rushed Back To Los Angeles When He Heard Daughter Suri Was There. But The Subsequent Announcement Broke Him Down… See More

Tom Cruise films are known for their stunts – but for his latest gig, the most dramatic scenes occurred when the cameras were off.

Hollywood blockbuster Jack Reacher was thrown into chaos after a huge blaze erupted on the Louisiana set – swallowing up the wardrobe trailer within seconds.

The fire was just yards away from Jerry Maguire star Tom’s trailer, where the actor, 53, was sitting between scenes.

Firefighters were called to the scene and the blaze was dealt with.

Father-of-three Tom was later pictured looking stressed on set after actress Leah Remini’s documentary aired.

In what must be embarrassing revelations for the actor, Leah revealed details about Tom and Katie Holmes’ 2006 wedding as well as the power Tom has over Scientology leaders.

In a sit-down interview with 20/20 Leah discussed her life within the Church and also talks about the Mission Impossible star and Katie’s big day, which she received an invite to.

As well as being asked along, she claims she was also asked to invite her good friend Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer’s husband at the time Marc Anthony.

“The Church was really the one who invited them,” Leah claimed. “On Tom’s behalf.”

She then goes on to reveal details from the wedding, saying that the famous Scientologist serenaded Katie with a song that appeared in his hit film Top Gun – You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling.

“We’re like, ‘that’s an interesting song to sing to your bride,” she continued.

ABC News reports that the Church said all of Leah’s claims are untrue, “ridiculous and stupid”.

Leah also claims Hollywood star Katie filed a Knowledge Report – documents filed by other Scientologists that detail any member’s behaviour that’s deemed questionable or wrong – which she is reported to have showed the 20/20 show.

“It starts with, ‘I was dismayed at the behavior of Leah Remini during the events leading up to our wedding… At the wedding, the behavior as a guest, a friend… was very upsetting.’”

According to Leah, as a result of her alleged behavior, she was sent for “reprogramming” at Scientology’s main base in Clearwater, Florida.

“I was in an auditing room. Basically they were just trying to get me to recant what I said, to apologize for ruining the wedding of the century.”

In response to those particular claims, the Church told ABC News in a statement: “Ms. Remini voluntarily went to the Church to receive religious services. Her characterizations are another example of revisionist history.”

While Katie, who declined to appear on the show, released a statement through her rep which said : “I regret having upset Leah in the past and wish her only the best in the future.”

During the interview she also admits she was scolded for speaking out about some of Tom’s actions in public, including the time he criticised Brooke Shields for using antidepressants, when he argued with Matt Lauer about psychiatry and when he jumped on Oprah’s sofa during a TV appearance.

“I’m saying, ‘I don’t think he’s becoming of a Scientologist, jumping on couches, and attacking Matt Lauer… and attacking Brooke Shields,’” the 45-year-old said.

“Like… ‘What the hell is this guy doing?’… we need to rein it in, we need to stop all this, and he just needs to be an actor.”
