Chat show host Ellen DeGeneres – who has sparked her own controversy over treatment of staff -has finds herself back in the limelight after an old X post about rap mogul P Diddy has re-emerged.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, has been arrested due to accusations of sexual assault and trafficking.
As Diddy finds himself incarcerated after the serious allegations, the resurfaced X post has drawn attention for strange joke posted by the chat show host. She wrote: “Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why. @iamdiddy.”
The individual highlighting the tweet simply queried: “How is this still up?”
Other X users flooded to comment with one joking: “The account manager out of town.”

Another said: “She better not try to delete this neither.”
To add to the controversy, a vintage interview clip has popped up, showing Combs joking about the chances of him getting arrested, reports the Daily Star.
At the time, the 54-year-old hip-hop magnate boasted about his infamous ‘white parties’.
Diddy’s high-profile soirees, hosted at his luxe homes from Beverly Hills to the Hamptons and even Southern France, were attended by an array of A-listers including Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, and the late R&B star Aaliyah.

In 1999, Diddy boasted that his infamous parties were the hottest thing in town and confessed to a reporter: “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties. They don’t want me to throw parties no more.”
He added: “But we ain’t gonna stop. We’re gonna keep having fun, bringing people together from all walks of life. They’re going to be shutting them down. They’re probably going to be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things, just because we want to have a good time.”
However, during a recent court session where a $50 million bail was declined, accusations painted a darker picture of these events. The severe 14-page indictment alleges that Diddy led a “criminal enterprise” which coerced women into prolonged sexual acts with hired men through pressure or intimidation.
P Diddy has denied the allegations.
