Will Smith has clarified his position on Diddy’s crimes and has stressed that he played no part in them.

For those who need a bit of context, Diddy, 55, was arrested on September 16 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.

The rapper has been charged with multiple offenses, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

Despite pleading not guilty, he has been denied bail twice, even after offering a $50 million bail package.

Prosecutors allege that Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, orchestrated elaborate gatherings, referred to as “Freak Offs,” described in the indictment as “produced sex performances” involving drug use and coercion, per FOX News.

The events reportedly lasted for days and required IV fluids for participants to recover.

Authorities also uncovered additional materials at Diddy’s residence, including bondage gear, sex tapes, hidden cameras, and rooms designed specifically for sexual activities, according to court documents.

The indictment also claims Diddy often recorded the events while masturbating. Prosecutors allege these recordings were used to blackmail individuals, further compounding the severity of the charges against him.

Given that Diddy had many high-profile acquaintances, some have been caught in the crossfire, and Will Smith has since defended himself.

During a comedy appearance at the Observatory North Park in San Diego on December 12, the Oscar-winning actor addressed swirling rumors that he might have been aware of or involved in Diddy’s alleged “freak-offs.”

In a video obtained by TMZ, Smith emphatically distanced himself, stating: “I ain’t got s*** to do with Puffy.

“The world we’re in right now, it’s really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true,” the King Richard star told the audience.

“I been seein’ y’all memes and stuff. I see the memes. Some of that stuff is funny, some of it’s funny.”

However, Smith drew a line when it came to being associated with the controversy.

“I just wanna say this very clearly: I don’t have s**t to do with Puffy. So you all can stop all them memes. Stop all of that bulls**t,” he said. “I ain’t been nowhere near no damn ‘freak-off.’ Listen, I do enough of my own s**t, don’t be putting me in other people’s bulls**t.”

He added: “I ain’t been nowhere near that man, ain’t did none of that stupid s**t.”

Smith also took a jab at reports from the federal indictment that authorities seized 1,000 bottles of baby oil from Diddy’s properties.

“I don’t even like baby oil,” he said, drawing laughter from the audience.

Smith, 56, is a father to three children: Jaden, 26, and Willow, 24, with wife Jada Pinkett Smith, and Trey, 32, with his ex, Sheree Zampino.

Regarding the baby oil comment, Diddy reportedly had 1000 bottles of it in his house, but his lawyer has since denied that.

During an interview with the New York Post, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the unusual discovery of the baby oil and downplayed its significance.

“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot,” Agnifilo said. “I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know.”

The lawyer went on to argue that the items should not be viewed as incriminating, stating: “These are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was, there would be no more people.”
