“Suicidemouse.avi”: Creepy Mickey Mouse Video Made One Moderator Shoot Himself in the Head After Watching 7 Minutes, “It Was the Most Terrifying Experience of My Life”

“Suicidemouse.avi” is a creepypasta about a cursed video of Mickey Mouse that has been circulating the internet for years with countless rumors.

Mickey Mouse has been one of the most popular cartoon characters for decades. It can be considered that this is the “mascot” of Disney, the film studio known as the Mouse House. However, with the development of the internet, urban legends and creepypastas, young people can know a strange, more creepy version of Mickey Mouse. Lucia Peters, deputy editor of Bustle, did some serious research on this version of Mickey last year. Thanks to that, we have a chance to learn more about the creepy video of Mickey Mouse that has been circulating online for years.

Creepypasta is a genre of horror stories on the Internet, the origin of many pictures, videos with haunting content with terrible stories that will make you shiver. For example, creepypasta about Smile Dog, these stories have no clear origin, but just become famous and widely circulated on the Internet.

One of the more notable creepypastas is about Mickey Mouse, called “Suicidemouse.avi”. As the story goes, it is a lost Mickey cartoon. It was discovered when film critic Leonard Maltin was going through old Mickey cartoons, deciding which ones should be made into DVDs.

This video is one of the most haunting things on the internet, or at least it’s been called that. Since 2009, it has had 1.1 million views on YouTube.

The video begins with Mickey Mouse walking down the street with his hands behind his back and his head down. The eerie, creepy sound of a piano playing in the background instantly chills the viewer. About a minute and a half later, the screen cuts to black. It appears that when it was found, the black screen lasted for six minutes. It was edited, and when the animation came back, things looked even more bizarre.

Mickey is still walking down the street, but a man can be heard screaming in the video. More voices appear, different screams blending into one. The animation begins to twist and distort, and eventually Mickey’s face disappears, leaving behind a blurry, barely visible black and white blur.

The story behind this infamous creepypasta is even darker. When Maltin first saw the video, he was so haunted by it that he left his room and forced his assistant to finish watching it so he could take notes. The guard on duty that night said that after watching the video, the assistant muttered “True suffering is nothingness” seven times, then grabbed the guard’s gun and shot himself.

This dark, creepy story has made Mickey’s videos one of creepypasta legends. But it’s not true, it’s just a fabrication.

“Suicidemouse.avi” was made in the 1930s, but journalist Lucia Peters argues that its animation is not similar to the Mickey cartoons made at that time, and does not even attempt to imitate them. She believes that the existence of this video and the story behind it are just fabrications, creating creepypastas about “lost cartoons” that are of great interest to many people. Famous cartoons all have a “dark version” of themselves, such as Doraemon, Phineas and Ferb, Tom and Jerry, etc.

“Suicidemouse.avi” has become so popular and convincing that it’s hard to deny it. However, the credibility of the creepypasta about the beloved Mouse has opened up more creepy stories for other cartoons. These “lost versions” are completely untrue, as are the stories of the victims behind them. However, it’s still an interesting and entertaining subject to explore.
