The internet is in an uproar after Nicki Minaj finally spoke out about what she described as her “long-hidden pain” involving ex Meek Mill and legendary – but controversial – music producer Diddy.
In an emotional Instagram live last night, Nicki revealed that she had “kept quiet for too long,” and that Meek Mill – the rapper she was in a relationship with on and off – had been both mentally and physically abused by Diddy during his time working under him.
“I can’t keep it a secret anymore. I saw what Meek went through… and it wasn’t just control. It was abuse. It was emotional abuse. It was the darkest form of power manipulation in this industry,” Nicki said in the nearly 12-minute live stream, which has since gone viral.
Nicki Is Willing to Testify in Court
Not stopping at revealing the truth, Nicki Minaj announced that she is willing to testify in court if necessary.
“If the government, if the law requires me to testify — I will appear. I will tell the whole truth. Meek is not alone. He should not be silenced by fear anymore.”
This information comes amid Diddy facing a series of sexual assault and violence allegations from many sides, with federal and civil investigations underway.
